Exactaform
Global leader in high-performance cutting solutions, Exactaform, has launched its ExactaMill XE13 and XE22 Series with its US arm, Exactaform USA.
With this expansion, Exactaform USA strengthens its position in the aerospace sector in the States, ensuring fast and reliable access to top-tier cutting tools and setting a new benchmark in precision machining for aluminum, titanium, and nickel alloys.
The ExactaMill XE13 Series is engineered for aluminum alloys and features advanced DLC coating technology to deliver extended tool life, while the ExactaMill XE22 Series is optimized for titanium and nickel alloys with high-performance PVD coatings that enhance durability and cutting efficiency.
The cutters for aluminum alloys feature two and three-flute designs with optimized flute profiles for superior chip evacuation, polished flutes to prevent built-up edge (BUE), and optimized geometries for high-speed cutting with minimal vibration. For titanium and nickel alloys, the range includes robust core designs for added strength, heat-resistant coatings to extend tool life, and fine-pitch geometries to enhance stability when machining tough materials. Ideal for aerospace applications, these advanced features provide manufacturers with greater process security, improved tool longevity, and enhanced machining efficiency.
Roughing endmills feature an PVD AlCrN based coating with post-coat treatments that improves abrasion resistance and significantly improves tool life performance in coolant applied applications. AlTiN based coating with enhancing elements and the latest coating technology applied to provide refinement of the cutting edge for longest tool life and superior surface quality from the machining process.
With more than 45 years of expertise in the cutting tools industry, Exactaform has been serving the US market since its founding in 1979, providing advanced bespoke solutions for aerospace, automotive and precision manufacturing. After decades of working with North American manufacturers, the company established a dedicated US facility in 2017 to enhance local support and reduce lead times.
This latest launch further strengthens Exactaform USA’s presence in the region, operating from a manufacturing facility in Tennessee to meet rising industry demand and streamlining supply chains for businesses. Through strong partnerships with Airbus, BAE Systems, GE Aviation, and other leading manufacturers, Exactaform continues to reinforce its reputation as a trusted supplier of high-performance tooling solutions.
“Our customers cannot afford delays or compromises in performance,” says Jamie White, MD of Exactaform. “By launching this new premium range and maintaining stock in the USA, we’re removing barriers to access and providing an industry-leading solution for machining aluminum, titanium, and nickel alloys, setting the standard for precision tooling.”
“This launch represents more than just a new product; it’s a commitment to our customers in America,” says Peter Raynor, president of Exactaform USA. “By having these tools readily available, w]e ensure that manufacturers get exactly what they need, exactly when they need it.”
