Starrag Group attends the Global Industrie Paris trade fair

"The future of the industry is being built today at GLOBAL INDUSTRIE" – This is the motto of the Global Industrie trade fair, which takes place from the 25th to the 28th March at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center, and will see over 2300 exhibitors present their innovations. Participants include well-known industry players like the Swiss Starrag Group who will be demonstrating the Bumotec 191 at Stand W77 / Hall 6, a main attraction for visitors.

The Swiss-made Bumotec 191 is a true crowd-stopper. The machining center is known as the "Swiss army knife" of machining because of its versatile application options and has already proven its abilities in ultra-high-precision performance for the medical technology and luxury goods industries. This mill-turn center is a single platform which combines a wide range of machining options. The Bumotec 191neo can be delivered in versions with vice "P", multiple vice "PRM", counter spindle "R", counter spindle/vice combination "RP" and with a bar capacity of 42mm, 50mm or 65mm.

The "correct spin": Long-lasting reliability with the TVU series
The French product range Berthiez, based in Saint-Étienne, is releasing two machine product series specially designed for milling and grinding. The TVU series, which is known for its exceptional performance in turning, offers bespoke solutions for machining larger, more complex, and rotationally symmetrical workpieces, and is setting new standards in precision and efficiency. This vertical turning machine sets itself apart from its rivals thanks to its completely cast construction, extremely precise static and dynamic positioning, and its durability and reliability. This makes it the perfect choice for demanding applications in the aerospace and energy industries, where the highest levels of precision and reliability are required.

Without interruptions and shadow-free: Grinding with software support
Berthiez RVU grinding machines will also be shaping the future of the industry and are targeting similar sectors to the TVU. These are mainly aimed at manufacturers of precision bearings as well as components for aerospace.

Technical highlights include up to four water-cooled grinding spindles, integrated dressing units, a grinding disc changeover unit and workpiece measurement, which together ensure highly precise machining. These equipment features guarantee that the machining process will be free from interruptions.
