Sharrow Engineering, Sharrow Marine expand into new 60,000ft2 Detroit facility

Sharrow Engineering and its marine division, Sharrow Marine, announced a major expansion into a new 60,000ft² manufacturing facility at Eastland Commerce Center in Harper Woods, part of Metro Detroit. This expansion more than triples the company's production footprint, enabling Sharrow to scale its manufacturing capacity to up to 2,000 units per month to meet unprecedented global demand for its award-winning Sharrow Propeller.

Located in Harper Woods, the Eastland Commerce Center is a modern industrial campus that spans over 1 million square feet on the site of the former Eastland Center mall. The facility is expected to be fully operational by December 2025, with production starting in September 2025. The expansion complements the company’s recent relocation of its headquarters to Newlab at Michigan Central, a leading hub for innovation and mobility in Metro Detroit. Together, these milestones solidify Sharrow’s deepening commitment to American manufacturing and its hometown of Detroit as it scales to serve growing demand across marine, commercial, defense, and aerospace markets.
