Renowned for his technical expertise in the application of exotic turning tools (PCD, CBN, ceramics) to machine difficult materials, such as hardened steels, titanium, Inconel(s), etc., Robert has been instrumental in assisting customer adoption of advancing cutting-edge technologies that deliver exceptional performance in these difficult turning applications.
Robert is a dedicated professional. His passion for solving everyday machining challenges, and commitment to the overall success of metalworking companies has made Robert a vital figure in the cutting tool industry, driving forward innovation and technological progress.

Scott Mittl
VP of Sales

Scott Mittl, Vice President of Sales, has been an employee of INSACO since 1990 and is responsible for sales engineering activity including quotations and account management. He takes an aggressive proactive approach to developing new customers and new product applications. This approach includes developing subcontractors to offer new capabilities/services to our customers. With his technical expertise and experience he can provide guidance in designing products using the materials we machine. He has a B.A. in Applied Sciences and a B.S. in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from Lehigh University and is a member of the American Ceramic Society.
