INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing
INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing, a provider of armored vehicles, became the first company in the world to armor the INEOS Grenadier. This collaboration between INKAS and INEOS Automotive brings together rugged performance and advanced security, offering customers the ultimate combination of safety and style.
The INEOS Grenadier, equipped with a BMW 3.0L Turbo Gasoline Straight-Six engine, delivers an impressive 282 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. With an 8-speed automatic transmission and permanent four-wheel drive, this vehicle is built to conquer any terrain, ensuring a smooth and powerful driving experience.
INKAS's standard armoring package provides the INEOS Grenadier with BR6 protection, matching the most common armoring levels found within the civilian armored vehicles sector. This level of protection is capable of withstanding 7.62 x 51mm rifle ammunition and hand grenade blasts, ensuring the safety of occupants in any situation. The advanced armoring is comprised of bullet-resistant glass and ballistic steel, defending against modern threats from high-power weapons.
This vehicle can also be armored with INKAS’ Lightweight Armoring Package. Key features of it include:
- Performance preservation: Vehicles maintain their original performance, including acceleration, handling, and braking.
- Discreet protection: Armored glass is nearly indistinguishable, providing a covert appearance, ballistic steel installed within doors and pillars does not protrude into the cabin.
- Durable and lightweight: Making use of ballistic steel but also Kevlar when necessary, reducing wear and tear on the vehicle's frame.
- Quick turnaround: Lightweight Armoring Package projects are completed in 2-3 weeks for a standard full-size SUV, compared to the longer duration for traditional heavy armoring.
