The 2026 Taiwan International Machine Tool Show (TMTS 2026), a prominent event in the machine tool industry, takes place March 25 to 28 at the Taichung International Exhibition Center (TICEC). Beyond showcasing cutting-edge technical expertise, this year’s exhibition features a comprehensive series of events and digital services. From international forums and business matching to interactive experiences, TMTS 2026 aims to provide an efficient and diverse platform for global buyers and attendees to maximize their exhibition value.
To deepen the engagement between visitors and exhibitors, TMTS 2026 is introducing the Digital Treasure Hunt. Featuring 15 key industry players across two themed routes, the activity encourages visitors to explore advanced solutions while engaging in interactive challenges. To boost participation, premium prizes such as international round-trip air tickets, foldable bicycles, and Bluetooth headphones are up for grabs.
Additionally, the popular TMTS on Air broadcast remains a focal point, with the studio set against the backdrop of the large Moomin installation provided by the Taichung City Government, adding a unique visual flair to the tech-driven event.
In professional recognition and business exchange, TMTS 2026 continues its core programs, including the opening ceremony, guided tours, and international technical forums. Notably, the AI Empowerment & Energy Efficiency Label Award Ceremony will be held during the Exhibitor Night to honor industry benchmarks in innovation and green transition.
To facilitate procurement, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) is hosting match-making meetings during the show. Furthermore, the Taiwan BIZ Fun service, organized in collaboration with TAITRA, offers international exhibitors and buyers exclusive lounge spaces, catering, special hotel rates, and shuttle services to optimize their business travel experience.
Digital services remain a highlight this year. TMTS 2026 is fully committed to green, paperless practices, with all participants using digital badges via the official TMTS APP. The app integrates features such as an AI chatbot, digital business card exchange, exhibitor search, and personalized schedules, all available in Chinese and English. For visitor comfort, a rest area is located on the northeast side of the hall, featuring six vendors offering bento boxes, light meals, beverages, and souvenirs.
Global manufacturing partners can attend TMTS 2026 and experience a convergence of smart technology and engaging activities.
