DMG MORI Federal Services achieves CMMC 2.0 Level 2 certification

DMG MORI Federal Services, Inc., a leading provider of advanced manufacturing solutions for the U.S. federal government and defense sector, has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 Level 2, validating the company’s robust cybersecurity posture and readiness to manage Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in support of Department of Defense (DOD) missions.

This achievement places DMG MORI among an elite group to have reached this advanced level of cybersecurity compliance, and one of the first global advanced manufacturing organizations to do so.

A three-year cybersecurity milestone
Achieved after a three-year company-wide effort, the CMMC 2.0 Level 2 certification confirms DMG MORI’s compliance with 110 security controls derived from NIST SP 800-171 R2.

Key outcomes include:

• Independent third-party verification: Certification through a CMMC-Accredited Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).
• Supply chain security and readiness: Ensuring that DMG MORI’s advanced manufacturing platforms, automation systems, and digital infrastructure meet the DoD’s highest standards for protecting sensitive data.
