Lockheed Martin named Stuart Holliday senior vice president and chief public affairs officer, overseeing communications and government affairs strategies and activities. As CEO of Meridian International Center, Holliday led the institution advancing American diplomacy, economic competitiveness, and geopolitical resilience. He previously served as United States Ambassador for Special Political Affairs at the United Nations and as an officer in the U.S. Navy. Eric Chewning

HII named Eric Chewning executive vice president of maritime systems and corporate strategy, leading the company’s strategy around maritime and advanced technology development. Chewning’s expanded role advances HII’s years-long strategy to bolster U.S. maritime supremacy by strengthening shipbuilding and fielding new multi-domain warfighting capabilities. Since joining HII in January 2023, and with experience including leading industrial base policy for the U.S. Department of Defense, Chewning has spearheaded efforts to expand the U.S. shipbuilding industrial base through acquisition, expansion of domestic and international partnerships, and leveraging advanced technologies in support of the U.S. Navy’s future fleet. FOR MORE: https://hii.com

Roger Kelly

 

HII also promoted Roger Kelly to vice president of contracts and pricing at its Newport News Shipbuilding division. Kelly succeeds Matt Mulherin Jr., who has been appointed vice president of supply chain and strategic sourcing at NNS. Kelly will have overall responsibility for contracts, pricing, and export/import licensing and compliance for NNS. He’ll report to Don Godwin, NNS vice president of business management and chief financial officer. Starting his career with the company in 1999 as a nuclear engineer, Kelly supported the Virginia-class submarine program. Alex Wong

 

Hanwha Group, provider of defense, shipbuilding, and energy solutions, appointed Alex Wong as global chief strategy officer (CSO) to lead the company’s strategic initiatives in international markets. Wong will spearhead Hanwha’s efforts to deepen partnerships, build defense capabilities, and accelerate reindustrialization in key markets, particularly in the United States and Europe. Michael Ricketts and Dwayne Perkins
