Thermwood Corp., manufacturer of CNC machinery and large-scale additive manufacturing (AM) systems, promoted Jason Susnjara to president of Thermwood Corp., succeeding David Hildenbrand, who recently retired after 47 years. Since 2019, he has served as executive vice president, where he played a key role in guiding Thermwood’s strategic direction and growth. He also serves on the company’s board of directors.
Jennifer Watt was promoted to executive vice president of Thermwood Corp. Since 2019, Watt has served as the company’s chief legal officer, where she has led Thermwood’s legal and corporate governance efforts with distinction. She also serves on Thermwood’s board of directors.

Star SU, the marketing, sales, and service affiliate of Star Cutter Co., hired Scott Lukomski as sales director for cutting tools. Lukomski will report to Star SU president Andreas Blind and lead the Star SU Sales team across all cutting tool applications. Lukomski joins Star Cutter coming from his most recent position as sales and marketing director at Marposs Corp.

The board of directors of Transor Filter USA and Board Chairman Emeritus, Irv Kaage, appointed Johan Svensson as president. Svensson has been managing director of the European office in Alvesta, Sweden. Relocating to the U.S., Svensson will be responsible for overseeing all North American operations at Transor Filter USA including sales, manufacturing, and assembly of units in their Chicago suburban facility. He will also be responsible for coordinating sales and service activities with the directors of Transor’s global offices located in Brazil, Japan, Germany, and South Korea.

Teledyne Technologies Inc. named George C. Bobb III as Teledyne’s president and CEO. Edwin Roks retired as Teledyne’s chief executive officer, but will continue as a special advisor to Robert Mehrabian, executive chairman, through August 31, 2025. Bobb was Teledyne’s president and chief operating officer from January 1, 2024.

Intelligent power management company Eaton announced the expansion of its Orchard Park, New York facility. The $18.5 million investment will significantly increase production capacity to serve growing demand by military defense, commercial aerospace, and space customers and add 77 skilled manufacturing jobs to the community. Eaton is adding 50,000ft2 of floor space to the facility to increase manufacturing capacity and enhance production efficiency by consolidating shipping, receiving, warehouse, and stocking operations under the same roof. The facility currently employs more than 450 people and manufactures oxygen, actuation, and other mission-ready technologies supporting commercial aircraft, defense, and space customers.
