In-machine gripper system

The MT-S achieves a fully automatic workpiece change during the machining process on a machine tool. It’s changed from the tool magazine of the milling machine and enables workpiece handling between the part storage and the clamping device. It’s actuated by cooling lubricant (in the hydraulic model) or compressed air (in the pneumatic model) routed through the machine spindle. The gripper closes hydraulically or pneumatically and opening takes place by means of spring force. The integrated spring-loaded counterbalance function protects the tool, machine spindle, and workpiece, and compensates for tolerances and unevenness. It’s available in hydraulic or pneumatic models and with or without a compensation unit for either option.
Sliding headstock CNC automatic lathe

The CITIZEN Cincom L20E-3M10 is a Swiss turning center featuring Cincom System M820VW (Windows base/4-axis simultaneous control) with standard eight cutting axes (X1, Y1, Z1, X2, Y2, Z2, C1, C2). The user-friendly editing function uses multi-line, multi-axes programming with superimposed, synchronized control, making setting up the most complex jobs easy. The Cincom L20’s performance and operability have been greatly improved, and the machine has become more environmentally friendly. The new L20 reduces downtime using Citizen’s proprietary LFV (low-frequency vibration cutting) technology for front and back machining. The improved acceleration/deceleration due to the higher output of the back spindle helps to shorten cycle times. Tool shortages have been eliminated by increasing the maximum number of turning tools that can be mounted on the gang tool post to six. The L20XIIB5 and L20XII55 support simultaneous 5-axis control and can perform complex machining in conjunction with a CAM system. As for operation, the large touch panel screen greatly improves ease of use. The Eco-Balance L20 Series has evolved toward sustainable manufacturing with improved environmental performance to reduce CO2 emissions, including reducing air consumption through optimal air control and visualization of environmental information.
Expanded gundrill line

TOGT and ZSGT inserts are designed for milling centers, lathes, and dedicated gundrill machines.
For ZSGT inserts, the new gundrills are available in the diameter range of 7.94mm to 9.99mm in 0.5mm increments, and in drilling length-to-diameter ratios of 35, 40, and 45. Longer gundrills up to 1,650mm in length are provided on request. The new ZSGT 040104R-DT IC948 and ZSGT 050104R-DT IC948 inserts feature a single chip-splitting cutting edge, a positive rake chipbreaker, and a wiper for high hole surface quality.
For TOGT inserts, the drills are available in the diameter range of 14mm to 28.58mm up to 1,650mm drilling length. Longer gundrills of up to 2,400mm in length can be supplied on request. The TOGT insert is available in two chipformers – DT and GF in six sizes from 07 to 12, featuring three chip-splitting cutting edges, a positive rake chipbreaker, and a wiper for high hole surface quality.
